Operation Instructions

DEMO MODE: Initial charging required to permanently unlock flashlight from demo mode.

TO UNLOCK FROM LOCKOUT: Double press button

ON/OFF: Cycle through modes to Off, or press button when it not illuminated to go directly to Off

CYCLE MODES: While illuminated, press button to change modes

Charging and Battery Instructions

Charging the XP713:
To charge the flashlight, locate the USB-C port cover on the back of the light. Open the cover and insert the USB-C end of the charging cable into the port. Connect the other end of the cable to a 5V USB power source.

Battery Indicator:
A blue light means the battery is above 30% charged. A red light indicates low power—charging is recommended.

Charge Time:
Approximately 3–4 hours for a full charge.

Using AAA Batteries:
The XP713 can also operate on 9 AAA batteries. To switch power sources:

  1. Unscrew the tail cap.

  2. Remove the rechargeable battery.

  3. Insert 9 AAA batteries into the included battery holder.

  4. Place the battery holder into the flashlight with the arrow pointing downward.

  5. Screw the tail cap back on securely.

Like a Tank with a Turbo Torch

This flashlight is built like a tank. The rubberized texture on the handle has an incredible feel when you grip it--super sturdy, like it would never slip even when wet, but also surprisingly comfortable. You could carry this for a LONG time with no fatigue.
And then you turn this bad boy on. Holy Cow. Let there be light! It starts with the ultra low setting--super low drain on the battery--a nice warm yellow light that wouldn't wake up other campers. But if that wasn't enough, you can gradually crank it up to see a brighter whiter light and can adjust the focus beam over a wider or more narrow area. And then, if you dare, switch on the TURBO mode. ROCK. ON. BABY!
This ain't Granpappy's flashlight! I've never seen a brighter light. Never. And I've used a LOT of flashlights. It literally turned the night to day. I could have found a key dropped in the tall grass in the dead of night. Truly awesome. It actually made me laugh. I turned it off and tried the Turbo mode again to see if I'd just imagined it. But there is was, in all its Glory. And I just laughed because it was THAT cool to be holding something that powerful. I bet you'd laugh too if you tried it. I don't know a guy who wouldn't love to own this puppy.
Honestly, I wouldn't use Turbo mode a ton, but when needed, it would truly be useful--and even potentially a life-saving feature.
Love the digital display screen showing how much charge is left. Gives you peace of mind not having to guess. And it shines bright up until the very last second of the charge. Not sure how they engineered it to do that, but really helpful. The rechargeable battery lasts forever! And just in case, it comes with a backup power source via regular disposable batteries-- for times you have no electricity for recharging. It uses both USB and USB-C options and can even act as a power bank to charge my phone. This is no ordinary flashlight! They thought of everything. It's like something Q would create for James Bond. High tech, bad to the bone, unbreakably strong but so nice to hold and use. It's so satisfying and rare when you get something, and after using it, can honestly say "This is how stuff SHOULD be built. Built to dependably work. Built to last." Do yourself a favor and get one! It will NOT dissapoint! Wish I could see the grin on your face when you hit TURBO mode! 😃 I will be giving this to friends and family for birthdays and Christmas gifts.
