Operation Instructions
DEMO MODE: Initial charging required to permanently unlock flashlight from demo mode.
TO UNLOCK FROM LOCKOUT: Double press button
ON/OFF: Cycle through modes to Off, or press button when it not illuminated to go directly to Off
CYCLE MODES: While illuminated, press button to change modes
Charging and Battery Instructions
Charging the XP715:
To charge the flashlight, locate the USB-C port cover on the back of the light. Open the cover and insert the USB-C end of the charging cable into the port. Connect the other end of the cable to a 5V USB power source.
Battery Indicator:
A blue light means the battery is above 30% charged. A red light indicates low power—charging is recommended.
Charge Time:
Approximately 3–4 hours for a full charge.
Using AA Batteries:
The XP715 can also operate on 9 AA batteries. To switch power sources:

Unscrew the tail cap.

Remove the rechargeable battery.

Insert 9 AA batteries into the included battery holder.

Place the battery holder into the flashlight with the arrow pointing downward.

Screw the tail cap back on securely.

This Luxpro XP715 is by far the brightest light I own. It has a lot of features too. I also have the XP913. It's a awesome light also. Great lights all around, Thanks Barry Bentley.
So impressed with this flashlight. The brightness is incredible! When you switch to turbo mode, it’s like flipping on daylight. Super durable, easy to handle, and I love that I can either recharge it or use regular batteries. Also love the little display screen with the power indicator. Highly recommend!
The flashlight is very heavy duty and well built. But so for I’ve been very disappointed in the light overall. Even after charging to 100% charge I only get about 15 minutes use before it starts dropping brightness a lot. I own over ten Luxpro flashlight and lanterns all of which work great. I will buy some regular batteries and try and see if it improves. Maybe the rechargeable batteries are bad if so I’ll return it.
