Operation Instructions

ON/OFF: Turn the dial on the front of the lantern clockwise to switch the light on. Turn the dial fully counterclockwise to switch the light off. You will hear a click when the light turns on or off.

Adjust Brightness: Rotate the dial clockwise to increase the brightness and counterclockwise to decrease it.

Charging Instructions

Charging: To charge the LP1512, locate the USB dust cover below the dial and open it to reveal the two charging ports. Plug the included micro USB cable into the lantern’s charging port, and connect the other end to a USB power source. A red LED light inside the charging port will illuminate to indicate the lantern is charging. When the light turns green, the lantern is fully charged. The lantern can be used while charging.

The LP1512 takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge.

Charging Other Devices: The LP1512 can also function as a power bank to charge other devices. To do this, plug your device’s charging cable into the USB output port on the lantern, then connect the other end to your electronic device. Note: The lantern will not charge other devices if it is turned on.

Using 3 C Batteries

Using the LP1512 with Batteries:
To install batteries, turn the base of the lantern counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the batteries according to the (+/-) symbols located outside the battery tubes. These symbols indicate which end of each battery should face up. For best performance, use brand-new alkaline batteries of the same brand and voltage.

To reattach the base, align it with the lantern, press down gently, and turn it clockwise until secure.

The lantern will use the internal rechargeable battery first, then switch to the alkaline batteries when needed.

For long-term storage, remove the batteries and store the lantern in a dry, protected place.
