I worked for a decade in caves as a ranger leading the public on tours or roving around picking up sunflower seed shells and gum off the near frozen volcanic ash floors. This icy glass dust quickly kills boots, packs, laces, and lights.
We liked our lineup from Luxpro’s competition, another tactical light company. But, we killed them in a season. I went to buy another one of the same kind for myself to have at work and was introduced to Luxpro. I used my Luxpro for two seasons in the caves as a pointer on tours in large caverns and as my second source, so always carried outside of my pack. I had it for four years after until it gave up on Winter Solstice 2020. Six years in and they sent me a new one when I asked if they could recommend a fix for my old one. Amazing.
I purchased two Ultra Bright 1000’s. One of the units was defective. I contacted Luxpro customer service. The young lady I corresponded with immediately shipped a new unit no questions asked, just requested I return the defective unit in a company supplied mailer.
I mentioned I had an old LP600 that worked but randomly changed modes without touching the button. She noted that the LP600 was no longer manufactured and there are no replacement parts available. She sent me the updated version at no charge, requesting that I throw the old unit away upon receipt of the new unit.
It is very refreshing to do business with a company that has a great product, stands behind their products, incredible customer service. Great American company, I highly recommend Luxpro.
Our flashlight wasn’t working properly & I emailed the warranty department; they opened a claim & sent us a new flashlight for only the cost of shipping
