This light is vary bright control works nicely and is overall a quality light.
I just picked one of these up from Lowes last night, wasn't looking for a Flashlight or anything, but I'm one of "those guys" when it comes to flashlights, but I'm not a flashlight snob or anything. I like the "cheap" ones (affordable). Due to my fondness for flashlights, I had to tell myself about 2 years ago: "NO MORE FLASHLIGHTS UNLESS THEY"RE RECHARGABLE". Luckily that seems to be making a breakthrough in the market, they are easier to find these days, sorta plentiful, and mostly affordable. Not as cheap as non-rechargeable flashlights, but not so much that you can't afford them, or double the price or anything.
Any who, I came across this Lux Pro Pen Light at Lowes, and what caught my eye was 360 Lumens. I have 2 or 3 rechargeable Pen Lights, one of my favorites is the Harbor Freight one that is 140 Lumens. So this one being 360 Lumens I had to check it out. Was able to do the "Try Me!" while it was in the case, and was pleased with the light output. Also the ability to focus the beam, which my Harbor Freight ones do not do that. While I will say that $26 seems a little high, and that $20 would have been better IMO, its a great Pen Light.
I don't believe I have seen a rechargeable Pen Light with 360 Lumens. I'm sure there are some 200 Lumen ones out there, but this Lux Pro thing is bright.
My only Larger complaint is: The Belt Clip broke immediately. Like IMMIDATELY. The second I gave it a mild tug to see how "stiff" it was. I have plastic Bic pens that have stronger clips... Otherwise my not so favorites: The Button is a kinda hard to press. I'm not an older guy with arthritis or anything, I'm barely 40, and I tired a few at the store and they were all the same. Just feels a tad hard to press than it should be, and harder than any other flashlight I own, that I can think of. But I guess at least you wont have to worry about accidental actuations on this thing. And lastly I wish there was a "Medium" setting on the light. The Low mode is pretty Low, which is fine, just being that Low, a Medium would be appreciated. Also, a Dimmer option would be super nice. Add all that, and toss in Memory option, this would be my number 1 for sure.
It does exactly what I need. It's bright and rechargeable.
My favorite penlight. I have 5 different brands of penlights. Luxpro 360 lumen rechargeable is the best!
