Great customer service

After writing a negative review of a failed product, XP925, I received really outstanding support from the customer service team. They replaced the product with one that worked and were very easy to deal with. I will buy LuxPro products in the future.

Excellent Flashlight & Customer Service

My dad was given a LUXPRO XP925 a couple of years ago for Christmas and likes it so well, he ask for another one this year so he could have one in different locations. I ordered this one and it ended up getting lost in postal shipping. I reached out to the company and immediately they said they were shipping me a replacement and would use UPS instead of USPS and they did, as i recieved it in just a couple of days. Not only is this an excellent product but an excellent company with impeccable Customer Servie.

USB is useless. I suspect it will be replaced on future models. Other comments below. L

It is good light, but I paid too much for a warranty replacement! No strobe, I miss and need that. No way does the beam illuminate to the distance alleged, good but not that good. The barrel heats up and is hot to hold. The rubber hand cover needs to be expanded forward as far as possible! I wouldn't buy this model again; it needs multiple revisions to improve, IMHO. USB has a useless cover the one provided sucks. It will collect dirt & whatever, depending on where it is carried! Not the distance Lumens stated. Charging and powering seem ok, but haven't had the light long enough to evaluate. Looking forward to future evolutions, this one should not be top of the line. PS I have 2 other models & their Customer Service is SUPER EXCELLENT PLUS!

Disappointed with Turbo Feature

I’ve been buying Lux Pro Flashlights for over 10 years. This the first Lux Pro flashlight I’ve been disappointed with. I was mostly looking for the 5000 Lumen Turbo feature. In the past, Lux Pro flashlights have been very accurate about their Lumen Output. But this XP 925 in Turbo mode is a total disappointment. There’s no way it’s 5000 Lumens in Turbo mode. Maybe in the 3000-3500 Lumen range tops. The Turbo mode is only noticeable close up. You can’t even notice the difference in Turbo mode at a distance.

Second thing is that this flashlight is too large (9 inches) to carry in your pocket or on a utility belt. With the fast changing flashlight technology, this flashlight is already obsolete, due to its large size for today’s standards of flashlights getting smaller and brighter.

The third thing is the light from the XP 925 has a yellow color to it, unlike the XP 918 which emits a bright white light. Also, the zoom feature is also a nuisance in a large flashlight.

The XP 925, like the XP 918 both have a power buttons that are hard to see and operate in the dark. The button side and charging ports on both flashlights side feel the same in the dark.

There are a few improvements on XP 925 to the XP 918; The charging port has been turned in a vertical position, which is easier to use and has green and red lights in the charging ports. The rubber cover to the charging port is easier to open than the XP 918, but still is not easy to open.

If you’re mostly looking at the 5000 Lumen Turbo feature, don’t buy this flashlight, you’ll be disappointed.

If you want to buy a good Lux Pro Flashlight, buy the XP 918, it’s a small (7.75 inches) and narrow, with a whopping, constant 2500 Lumen out, emitting bright, white light. Easy to carry in your pocket or utility belt.
