First Impression: The flashlight is decently bright and easily fits in your pocket so it's great as an EDC light. The LP485 beam has a nice flood view with a concentrated spot beam in the center, the beam quality is great and doesn’t have any issues. The magnet on the end is super strong so it never struggles to hold the flashlight up on something magnetic, one issue that I have had is that the glue holding the magnet onto the flashlight has failed me and left the magnet on a thick metal surface, this was frustrating but was easily fixed by superglue.
Brightness: Medium Brightness, bright enough to do lots of activities but not bright enough for something like search and rescue.
Beam Quality: Perfect, the beam is far reaching and never loses its quality at a large distance.
Build Quality: Strong aluminum, but the plastic lens and the O-rings don’t stay tight on the front end of the flashlight.
Battery Life: The flashlight loses its charge quickly but it's easy to replace the batteries.
Final Thoughts: If you need a flashlight for things like hiking at night it's bright enough, if you need a multifunctional flashlight for working on a project the COB light on the side with the magnet makes it perfect for that. This flashlight is great all around and has lots of purposes. I wish it had better battery life or was rechargeable but it still works great the way it is!
