The LP1250US is a pretty bright flashlight and is really light for a fully metal flashlight so you can swing pretty fast with it and you can f up someone if you hit them hard enough.

LP1250 Freedom LED

I have only used this light only a few times, it is the brightest luxpro flashlight I own and is bright especially when scanning the wooded area behind my house. Has a good center hot spot and nice light spill. I like the graphics on the light itself. Something different than the usual black flashlights.

Overall, this is a great flashlight to keep around the house for situations like power outages or even home defense scenarios. Its larger size makes it well-suited for home use, though I personally wouldn’t choose it for hiking or camping due to the bulk.

The main reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 comes down to the button placement. In a high-stress situation, having the power button on the handle feels much more natural and intuitive. With this design, the button is located on the tail end of the light, which can make quick activation feel less ergonomic during a fast grab. In my opinion, a side-mounted or handle-mounted switch would make a lot more sense for emergency use.

That said, the flashlight itself performs very well. It features three brightness settings, and the highest setting is extremely bright. Enough to momentarily blind the user if switched on unexpectedly. The beam output is impressive, and despite my gripe with the switch placement, it’s still a solid and dependable light overall.
