I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this rechargeable flip-up headlamp. One of the biggest things I look for in a headlamp is comfort, and this one does a great job. It’s lightweight, doesn’t feel bulky or awkward on your head, and the strap stays put thanks to the grippy material on the inside of the band. Once it’s adjusted, I pretty much forget I’m wearing it.

The light output is versatile. The high setting is plenty bright for hiking, camping, working around the house, or tackling projects, although it will use the battery faster. The low setting is where I see myself using it most often since it’s great for close-up work and offers an impressive runtime of up to 30 hours. The beam pattern is a nice middle ground—not too focused and not too wide.

The flip-up feature is actually more useful than I expected. When you flip the light up, a secondary light underneath turns on, making it ideal for reading, working on something in your hands, or any task where you need light close to you instead of shining straight ahead. It’s one of those features that sounds gimmicky until you actually use it.

The controls are straightforward once you get familiar with the button placement. It also includes both a red light mode and a motion sensor mode, which are nice additions depending on the situation. It doesn’t remember the last mode used, but that’s not a dealbreaker for me.

Charging is done through USB-C, and the battery life is solid. The combination of long runtime on low and over 5 hours on high gives plenty of flexibility depending on what you’re using it for.

The build quality feels good, it’s water resistant, and I’d have no problem taking it camping or keeping it in my emergency gear. So far I’ve used it for camping, projects around the house, and general tasks where having both hands free is helpful.

My favorite thing about this headlamp is simply how comfortable it is. A lot of headlamps start feeling annoying after a while, but this one is light enough and fits well enough that I don’t really think about it once it’s on.

Overall, this is a well-designed, comfortable headlamp with useful features, good battery life, and plenty of versatility for camping, work, or emergency preparedness.

I have never had a headlamp that had a motion sensor feature. This is super helpful when my hands are full or dirty and I need to turn off the headlamp. Worked on a truck with my dad this last week and he loved it.

The motion sensor aspect of this light is great for doing things that would make it difficult to turn the headlamp on and off by pressing the button. It came in handy when I was doing my nails!

I love this headlamp! Both my daughter and I use the flip up part for reading and doing puzzles. It's a pleasant level of light, I can walk around my home at night without worrying about blinding someone. I like that the strap is rubberized and fits well.
