Illumination is truly great

We have a selection of many flashlights on the market yet, I have seen some unbelievably expensive flashlights that match these reasonably priced flashlights for their uncanny ability to illuminate your path. They have so many different applications and truly thought about our safety.

I have used this headlamp EVERYWHERE. It hasn't let me down once.

I want to be upfront: I didn't set out to become a headlamp person. But here I am, a headlamp person, and I have zero regrets.
The LUXPRO XP748 has quietly become one of the most-used things I own. Let me walk you through how I've actually used it, because I think that's more useful than a spec sheet.
In the garage: Working under the hood or behind something bulky where you need both hands free is exactly where a headlamp goes from "nice to have" to "why did I ever use anything else." 650 lumens points wherever your head points. My flashlight does not do that.
In the basement: Seven light modes sounds like a gimmick until you're in a dark utility room trying not to blind yourself. Flood High for general visibility, Low for when you don't need a spotlight on your face — the dual-button setup makes switching effortless. This is where the red light mode also earns its keep. Surprisingly useful when you want light without nuking your night vision.
At the campsite: IPX6 waterproof, so a little rain or a spilled drink isn't a crisis. The non-slip headband stays put even when you're moving around, and 12 hours of runtime means you're not babysitting the battery all weekend. The strobe mode is there if you ever need it for safety or signaling.
On the trail: At 0.29 lbs, you genuinely forget it's on your head. The beam reaches 158 meters on High+ — that's enough to see what's ahead on a dark trail without slowing down. Last mode recall means when you turn it back on, it picks up right where you left off. Small thing, but it matters at 5am.
For $29.99 this is an absurd amount of headlamp. Whether you're fixing something, building something, hiking something, or just trying to find the breaker box without waking up the house — the XP748 handles all of it without complaint.

So good!

Didn’t realize how bad my old headlamp was until I got this one. Seriously — it’s not even close. This thing is insanely bright for how compact it is, and having multiple modes (especially the red light) makes it way more useful than I expected.

The beam actually reaches out and lights things up instead of just barely glowing in front of you, and it’s comfortable enough to wear for a while without messing with it. Battery life has been solid too, which is huge.

One of those upgrades where you’re like… yeah, I should’ve done this way sooner.

Great headlamp

This is the brightest and best fitting headlamp of the three styles I own.
